The lost Elfyn Race

Many of the old stories of all races of Elves refer to a fourth race called the Elfyn.
The Elfyn are a lost race of elves; no one knows where they went, who they were, or why there are none. Some believe that they, not the Elvyn, are the origonal race and that all three races origonated from them. One thing is agreed upon, though.
The Elfyn lived in what is now En'Trielldêi, and it is said that when the humans came south out of the Stromm Badlands, the Elfyn allowed them to stay in the same region. (Some, who are prejeduce against the humans, say that it was these Elves who built the city.)
Now, for some reason, as the humans began to thrive in their new home, the Elfyn population dwindled. Then, for some reason, the ceased to be. Whether they were killed, or all went separate directions, no one knows.
The most popular theory goes that they took a ship to the Elvyn island, and live there in hiding now, their life-force fading slowly. Only the Elvyn and prove this theory wrong, but with the ammount of secrecy they carry about their homeland, no one knows for sure.

Creation of Vampire Werewolves

The chances of surviving an encounter are less than the actual chances of creating one of these unstoppable creatures.
The full moon rose in the sky as a woman lay in a forest clearing giving birth, her lover holding her hand. The lover had been a half-vampire, the woman, a werewolf. And with the moon high in the sky, she began to turn into her true form.
Her lover, not knowing what might come next, backed away to keep his distance. The woman dug into the ground with claws that had moments ago been delicate fingers, throwing up the dusty soil.
Then, silence. A single baby's cry. The lover, immediately forgetting the threat of the woman, went over to comfort the baby. He picked it up and wrapped it in a blanket he and the woman had brought with them. He looked from the child to its mother and saw that the woman had transformed back to her human self. Of course, with the full moon still high, this meant only one thing: death. He kissed the woman once, gently, then carried the baby away. He did not know what secret the baby held.

A Vampire Werewolf Halfbreed is a rare occurrance; it has to be fathered by a half vampire, conceived on a new moon, and born on a full moon. The mother has to be full werewolf.

Appearance:
Vampire Werewold Halfbreeds (V/W-H) have two forms:
-The natural form of whatever race they are.
-A giant winged werewolf with massive fangs.

Natural Attributes:
In natural form, V/W-H have some powers and abilities but to a lesser degree. Increased strength, stamina and endurance are just a few to name. In this form, they have next to no weaknesses.
In beast form, they are a lot more powereful, but have retained their inherited weaknesses of silver and sunlight.
V/W-H have Superhuman Strength and Dark Gift which is common among vampires.

Extra bits of Information
V/W-H are extremely rare. Only three have ever been seen, with two hundred years at least between them.
However, there have been recent rumors of a group of V/W-H...

Creation of the Vampire

Have you ever wondered where Vampires came from? Or wondered what brought them into this world? Read the extent of this post and learn the truth.
Long long ago, there was a heated political debate between two warring Elben houses. It got so intense that one side desired to kill the competition. They attempted to do it in secret, but were caught in the attempt. In doing so, their whole nation turned on them and the were killed before they could do anything.

As they were dying, a great and evil spirit came among them and gave them the choice of life and death. They chose the former and were changed by the Spirit's dark powers. Resistance to Nature's Fury but weak against the Glare of the Sun was a curse common to all of them. But as a flaw in the Spirit's Power, they could not procreate, only taint, in mockery of the spirit itself. Another flaw in their make was that they could only survive off the blood of the living. Besides these few basic flaws, they were a lot more powerful and did not age at all and appeared the same, NEVER changing in body but only in mind.

So they lived on for thousands of years without anyone knowing of them until recently when a group of humans started worshipping them openly and proclaiming their superiority. After this time, there has been an increase in Vampire and Half Vampire population.

The Elves, seeing the Vampires as the distant kin they shunned so long ago, have openly claimed war against them. Most of it is done in secret with the use Mercenaries and Assassins. Many a Vampire and Elf have disappeared without a trace.

However, some Vampires have rejected their true nature, a very hard thing to do, and formed a seperate religion of their own. Feeding only on what they need, and from living things that submit willingly. These Vampires are less known and in hiding.

Thus is the history of the Vampires.

History of the elements

The elementals first originated in medieval times when they destroyed the land during the war. Some personification of Nature or another thrived on what was left and stored this naturistic power in special beings, so as to protect what was left of that element. She started with two, one female and male of each so they may reproduce and create the energy to keep the elements going.
In the very beginning there was trouble in the balance of Nature. The former Gaurdians were finding it hard to protect the elements and keep them at their best; some secret enemy was tainting them with dark magic.

A kingdom of Humans, who were very on par with Nature, were granted the power to protect them. Some people believe that a Great Spirit, named Mother Earth, gave them this gift, while others believed it to be a group of Nature Deities. But from this, came seven Noble Houses and one Royal Family and represented one form of pure element or another. The houses were:

Hiyaki, the House of the Bear. These people worked with water in their marshy homeland or the sea surrounding it.

Tsubiya, the House of the Ox. These people worked with stone, and from it, formed great magical jewels.

Kyana, the House of the Falcon. These people worked with the sky, manipulating the wind in such a way to gain flight.

Baintu, the House of the Dragon. These people worked with fire and used it (with the help of the Tsubiya) to form many large structures.

Shika'mi, the House of the Fox. These people worked with Dark Magic and Shadow itself.

Leea'fornan, the House of the Dog. These people worked with Light Magic, Holy Spells and the Art of Healing.

Sita-neeayu, the House of the Owl. These people were the wisest and perhaps the most powerful of the noble House. they worked with all things pertaining to the mind.

And lastly, the Royal Family, Makadiya, the House of the Lion. This family could manipulate all elements but had a tendacy to lask out uncontrollably, and took many yeras to master their powers.
________________________________________________

From the beginning the houses and Royal Family lived in peace with their kingdom and with a suitable land too. For a while, it remained the same, but one day when an outsider decided to explore the lands, the Gaurds on duty brought him to the Royal Castle, to await judgment from the King and Queen.

And so his judgement day came and he proved that he was innocent, or so they thought.

He lived with them for many years, not yeilding anything that would make the people suspicious of him until one night he dissapeared. They constantly searched for him, checking the east side of their country first, then moving onto their west side.

While they were doing this, an unknown army claimed the eastern part of their kingdom. The Searching Party returned to their castle unaware of what happened, and found all of their subjects dead. The King and Queen and their aids climbed the stairs to their throwns to find the Stranger there.

A dark smile formed on his lips and he said, "This is my kingdom now." With a quick movement, too fast for the human eye, he killed the King.

The Queen, in a desperate act of vengeance, released her full power and killed the stranger and the entire of the unknown army. But her storm was so destructive that it destroyed their land and only a few escaped from each house, the Queen and her aids included. The descendants of these people became the Elementals, and the descendants of the people of the Kingdom became the Immortals.

And since that day, the Gods granted them immortalilty; that they should live longer and be reincarnated until their kingdom was restored to it's former glory.

Elfin Clans

The Elfin people are divided into several clans. Here is the mythological story behind it.
The Elfin have an ancient story that goes like this:

In the beginning, there were seven Clans. Each clan had a Mother, who was of the Elfyn race:

Jhituo, Mother of all plants and animals;

Khersha, Mother of fire and passion;

Ethal, Mother of wind and sky;

Litha, Mother of the moon and night;

Sh’eati, Mother of oceans and storms;

Mhalai, Mother of sun and day;

And Xeris, Mother of stone and magic.

From each Mother sprung a clan, a family of descendants, all of whom were the Elvyn race. These people were given a realm to live in, which they called Nera. The Clan Mothers nurtured their families and each clan grew, supporting small sub-clans within each family.

Soon, though, a power threatened the people of Nera: the race of Humans. They had come from their isolated and overcrowded realm in search of new space; when they found Nera, they waged war for it.

Xeris’ people, the strongest clan, formed together as a small but powerful Elvyn army. They relentlessly campaigned until they had forced Humans to a peaceful truce. However, this peace was greatly earned. All of Clan Xeris was dead, all but one, and he was dying. Biudan was his name, and he was beyond help from even the healing skills of Clan Jhituo.

Fearing an end for her people, Xeris fused herself with the living stone, silver, and bonded her soul to Biudan. The act separated her soul from her body, which would have destroyed her had she not used silver as the bondage. The silver pendant, in which Xeris now dwelled, was given to Biudan. The magic may have saved his life but it also gave him and all descendants henceforth a heavy responsibility. It was written that the moment he woke, Xeris’ voice was heard around him.

“Biudan, my only son. I am Xeris. You have performed an honourable task. However, I have grievous news: you are the last of my sons and daughters. You have been saved from the icy threshold of death’s clutches. This does not come without a responsibility. You are to be a guardian of the Elvyn peoples. The heroic blood that flows in your veins will stay purely that of my own. Your line will be that of heroes, known and unknown, until my line can be reborn again through a daughter deemed perfect. You are no longer of the Elvyn, but and Elfyn yourself. These powers that come through my soul are yours for our people. This responsibility is yours.”

The other clan mothers, the sisters of Xeris, saw this happen and knew that their sister was dead. They pledged themselves to keep her body alive, and in doing so, ascended into the spirit realm where their sister could be preserved. They then designated a line of leaders among their clans to lead in their places until they could return.

Now, in the recent past, Xeris' line has been re-established. Not many of her clan are truly from her, as she accepted all those exiled during the war times of the Elfin.
