Swampy Forests

In northern Rok'thaxa, the forest is swampy and thick. Here, there is not much sign of civilization unless you look up. The people here live high in the trees, avoiding the wet and the bugs and the poisonous lizards.

Gortha

What exactly is Gortha? It's not exactly a place, as much as a thing. A volcano. In the center of the Stromm Badlands is where it sits, in a mountain range that shares it's name. It's very active, and so the Stromm Badlands are usually covered by it's thick sooty cloud.

Terethen Desert

A large desert that stretches all the way to the mountains of Xell in the west. Not much need to explain about it, other than that it's usually clouded with sooty clouds from Gortha.

River Xelli

The River Xelli, which runs the length of Xell, is the root point of several Elphin cities. These cities are extremely well hidden, except for a few. This river is the only mapped way in and out of the forests of Xell.

Javen'Ri

The small city of Javen'Ri is on the edge of Xell where the forests thin out. It's made to be easily visible for non Elphin people. It's archetechtual style is reminds someone somewhat of trees, so that when you catch things by the side of your eye, they looks stunningly natural, as if they'd been there since time began.

Mount Sogno

In the mountain ranges to the east of Xell, there lies an extremely special mountain. It laid dormant for years, strange fungi manefesting in its it's old lava vents. Now, though, hot steam periodically spouts from these vents. And because of the fungi, it has a magical property.

The fungi themselves are magical and extremely poisonous. But the steam, as it passes through their tangles, picks up some of that magic. It is said that anyone who breathes it will have a fierce hallucination, with two people hallucinating in the same vacinity sometimes sharing the dream. It has been well known of late, the properties of Mount Sogno.

Taura Grasslands

The soft, dancing grasslands of Nera are named Taura. Wild horses gallop through it, never caring. Most of the sedementary civilization lies here. There are towns and cities of both Elfen and other races. The towns can be quite hospitibal, however. They are Tierdon, Flasken, Vront, and Goille.

The Sea Cliffs

These are the cliffs that come off of the Sernad Mountains. They're full of caves, and in some places, not all that stable. But the view is amazing, as they overlap a deep coral bay.

Desert of the Exiled

Named after the legions of Exiled Elfen people that occupied it over 500 years ago, it is an empty barren wasteland that discourages people from drossing the thin land-bridge into Nera. All that stands in it is a blackened abandoned city that no one knows the name of.

Sernad Mountains

Mountains that line the eastern bit of Nera, just before the desert. These mountains are filled with wild animals and who knows what else. Because of that, they are extremely underpopulated. Most people who want to cross usually take the sea cliffs or follow the coast.

Nera Forest

Called simply "The Forest" by it's people, Nera Forest is a thick forest that covers most of the continent of Nera. It is called home by the Elfen, the dark elves. The trees here are old but friendly, and most say that this forest lifts their spirits. Just watch out; it is often also a battlefield between feuding Elfen clans, and that is something you don't want to be stuck in the middle of.

Gyre Bay

Gyre Bay was named so because it seems that the land has twirled around it, holding it in. It's a long bay, and surprisingly shallow. The eastern edge of it is a coral reef, filled with beautiful and some times dangerous wildlife. It is lined with sandy white beaches, and a sort of tourist town sits on an island just of the coast that is only accesable at low tide or by boat. A very beautiful place.

Pyrion Road

This road is quite famous, due to several stories, and the Giansza have built a few shrines along side of it. The road leads to a ferrying town of Frenais, where the Dorsi live with them, and a much smaller breed of Dorsi, known as Cleip, have been known to be kept as pets.

Heillisa City

Heillsa City is a smaller city that floats low on the edge of the mountain range. It is one of the few that offers Dorsi rides to the city and is open to visitors. Now, unlike you would think, there is actually thick vegetation in the gardens of Heillsa. Also, the archetechure utalizes a lot of glass and is strangely similar to that of En'Treilldêi.

The Emerald Forest

This is a forest off the edge of Trielldêi City. It was named because at first glance, it seems to be made of emeralds. The reality is that everything is just extremely green. This forest stretches all the way to the sea.

Endailla mountains

These mountains are situated at the center of the continent. They are in a curiously circular pattern, but no one has questioned the phenominen. The mountains are all very tall and beautiful and have inspired the invention of a sport somewhat like our downhill skiing.

Plains of Vlorgan

North east of the Stromm Badlands, but not as far as the frozen plains that many Giant's call home, lie the Plains of Vlorgan.
The plain itself is rather unremarkable. What separates this from the other plains is those who inhabit it: Centuars.

Giant territory

Far north east, the northern-most point on the largest chunk of land on Luz Verhaal, is a part of the world referred to only as Giant Territory.
Because of ancient myths based on the appearance of this large race, many fear the giants and avoid the area completely. Despite this fear, however, the Giants can be a very kind people.
